- How you are selected
- Through the process that already exists rather than a separate one for this role: a subject assessment set at the classes the role covers, which every applicant takes, then a review of your qualification documents by a person, not a form check. There is an interview where the role calls for one.

What is expected of you
Command of your subject at the depth this paper sets, and familiarity with its own marking scheme rather than another examination’s. You would teach it across Class 11 and Class 12.
Command of the published syllabus and paper pattern of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination, and of how preparation for it runs alongside a student's own board course rather than replacing it. WBJEE is an OMR examination of two papers sat on the same day, and its three question categories carry different marks and different negative marking — including a partial-credit rule for the multiple-correct category that changes what a student should do when they are unsure.
