Learning on your own
One-to-one help
Tell us the class, the subject and where you are. We will tell you honestly whether Tutor can teach it one-to-one — online, at a Tutor centre, or near you — and what to do if we cannot yet.
What happens with your answer
- We check it against the tutors Tutor has actually approved to teach that subject at that level — not against a list of people who signed up.
- You get one of four answers, and one of them is "not yet". We would rather tell you that than take a request we cannot fill.
- If we can help, a person arranges it with you. There is no instant booking for one-to-one, because there is no honest way to promise a specific tutor at a specific hour before we have asked them.
There is no tutor directory behind this
You cannot browse tutors here and you cannot book one instantly, because we will not show a profile we could not actually put in front of your child this month. If nobody we have approved covers what you need, the answer says so plainly and we keep the request as a waiting list — that queue is what tells us which subjects to recruit for next.
