Examination preparation
NEET UG Physics, Chemistry and Biology Tutor
Preparation for NEET UG in one of the three papers. You would be assessed in the paper you teach.
Class 11 and Class 12 · Advertised on 29 August 2026
The terms, before anything else
- How you are paid
- Hourly, for the hours you teach.
- Why there is no figure here
- No rate is published, because none has been fixed in advance. It is agreed with you at offer and is set by the subject, the level you would teach at, and how your assessment went — none of which is known before the assessment happens. You will have the figure in front of you before you are asked to commit to anything.
- Confidentiality
- The engagement is under a confidentiality agreement. The document is shared with you in full before anything is signed. Its terms are not summarised here, because a summary of an agreement is not the agreement.
- How you are selected
- Through the process that already exists rather than a separate one for this role: a subject assessment set at the classes the role covers, which every applicant takes, then a review of your qualification documents by a person, not a form check. There is an interview where the role calls for one.
- Where and how it is taught
- Online, in person in Kolkata, or both. Ways a class can run: Online; In person; A mix of online and in person; At the student’s home; At a place you teach from; At an institute.
- Who you would be engaged by
- Tutor.org.in. There is no registered company name, registered address or named grievance officer to give you yet. When there is, it will appear here rather than being left to the paperwork.
What the role covers
- Subjects
- Physics, Chemistry, Biology
- Classes
- Class 11 and Class 12. Stated, not derived: this preparation runs alongside the senior-secondary course, so the role covers the classes that course occupies.
- Boards
No board is named on this role. That is the honest answer rather than a gap: the specification you would teach against is settled before an offer, not assumed in an advert.
- Examinations you would prepare students for
- NEET UG
What is expected of you
Command of your subject at the depth the paper sets, and a feel for where its recall demands differ from a board course. You would teach it across Class 11 and Class 12.
Command of the published syllabus and paper pattern of NEET UG, and of how preparation for it runs alongside a student's own board course rather than replacing it. NEET UG is a single-shift pen-and-paper OMR examination of three hours: Physics, Chemistry and Biology, all questions compulsory, +4 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong one, with qualification set at a percentile of the candidates rather than at a fixed mark.
How you are assessed
- a subject assessment set at the classes the role covers, which every applicant takes
- a review of your qualification documents by a person, not a form check
Selection turns on the assessment and the document review above. Nothing else is implied: no background check process is in place yet, and we will not suggest one is.
What this advert does not tell you, and why
- No figure for the hourly rate, because none has been fixed. It is agreed at offer.
- No registered entity, address or grievance officer, because none is on record yet. We would rather leave the line blank than fill it with something plausible.
- No count of the people teaching here, no rating, and nobody quoted saying it was wonderful. None of that would be true today.
- No promise about how quickly you will hear back. Nobody here has committed to a turnaround, and describing one is how you create one.
- No background-check claim. That process is not in place, and a page implying it was would be claiming a check nobody runs.
