Applying straight to a university in another country
Entered before the point you are at now
Applying from Class 12 to a university abroad, with your board result. Whether it is possible at all is decided by the university and by the government of that country, and neither of those decisions is made here.
Why this is here
- Because you told us you are at finished a degree, which is past the point this one is entered.
- Because you said you want to start somewhere and move later.
- Because you chose healthcare.
- How long
- Three to four years
- Where it leads
- This is a degree
- Cost
- Tuition plus living costs in another country, and both are large
- Where you study
- May involve studying in another country
Whether this works depends on the institution you apply to. Ask them before you commit to it.
Next step: Read the entry requirements published by two or three specific universities, and the study-permission requirements published by that country’s government.
What has to be true first
- A Class 12 result the university accepts, and in most countries an English language test
- Study permission from that country’s government, which is a separate decision from the offer
Ask before you commit (4)
- Whether your board and your subject combination are accepted for the course you want
- Which English language test the university accepts, and whether your school qualifies you for a waiver
- What the total cost is for the whole course, not the first year, and what the university requires you to show you hold
- How the qualification will be treated if you return to India, which is a question for the receiving institution here
If the student is under eighteen
- Most students applying from Class 12 turn eighteen during the process, and the requirements differ on either side of that line
- Where a student is under eighteen on arrival, several countries require a guardian arrangement and the university requires consent from a parent
Can run at the same time as
- A foundation or bridging year before an overseas degree

Nothing is open at Tutor right now in the subjects that lead into this route. You can ask about one-to-one teaching, which is answered by a person rather than by this page.
