CA Foundation Examination

Usually called CA Foundation

The entrance to Chartered Accountancy, taken after Class 12. It is the first of three stages, and the qualification is completed alongside a period of practical training rather than at a university.

Class 12, any stream. Registration is with ICAI directly; a graduate may be exempt from this stage and enter at the next one.
