  1. After Class 12Many more applicants than places

    CLAT, then a National Law University

    1. Step 1. Sit CLAT after Class 12.
    2. Step 2. Admission is to the National Law Universities through a common counselling process.

    Any stream in Class 11 and 12 is eligible — law does not require science or commerce.

    CUET-UG, then an integrated law degree at a central university

    1. Step 1. Sit CUET-UG.
    2. Step 2. Several central and participating universities admit to five-year integrated law degrees on that score rather than on CLAT.

    A separate gate to the same professional qualification. Which universities admit this way changes between cycles — confirm on the official site.
